Why is attendance capped at 180 delegates?

The 180-seat cap is a deliberate design choice. mayaNess believes that transformative intellectual exchange requires intimacy, trust, and cognitive depth — qualities that are impossible in large-format conferences. Every session is structured for high-signal dialogue, not passive spectatorship. The cap also preserves the exclusivity and calibre of the delegate cohort.

How do I apply for a delegate pass?

Applications are submitted through the Delegate Application form at /events/cqis-2026/apply. You will be asked to provide your professional background, institutional affiliation, domain of expertise, preferred pass tier, and a brief screening response. The mayaNess Selection Board reviews all applications within 24–48 hours and contacts applicants by email with the outcome.

What does the vetting process involve?

The Selection Board assesses each application against four criteria: professional seniority and institutional standing, domain relevance to the four summit pillars, demonstrated engagement with the themes of cognitive sovereignty or quantum intelligence, and alignment with the mayaNess Society ethos. There is no fee at the application stage — payment is only requested after a pass is formally issued.

How long does the application review take?

The Selection Board aims to respond to all applications within 24–48 hours of submission. During peak application periods, this may extend to 72 hours. You will receive an email at the address provided in your application regardless of the outcome.

Question 9

What happens if my application is not approved?

Accepted Answer

If your application is not approved in the current cycle, you will receive a notification by email. You are welcome to reapply for a future CQIS event. The Board does not provide detailed feedback on individual applications, but unsuccessful applicants may be invited to engage with mayaNess Society through membership or the Knowledge Base.

Can I apply as a group or on behalf of my organisation?

Each delegate must submit an individual application. Institutional delegations of two or more are welcome, but each person must complete their own application and pass the vetting process independently. For institutional group enquiries, contact cqis2026@mayaness.org directly.

What are the ticket tiers and prices?

There are three delegate pass tiers. Early bird pricing (30% off) is available until 10 November 2026.

**Active MayaNess Member Pass** — £525 + VAT early bird (standard £750). Full one-day summit access, all sessions, materials, and refreshments. For active mayaNess Society members.

**Delegate Executive Pass** — £875 + VAT early bird (standard £1,250). Adds priority seating, the closed-door roundtable, and the formal delegate dinner.

**Sovereign Pass** — £1,995 + VAT early bird (standard £2,850). The premium tier — everything in Delegate Executive plus a private pre-summit briefing, a curated delegate introduction, and a signed institutional prospectus.

Standard rates apply from 1 November 2026. Passes are purchased securely via JVZoo.

How do I purchase a delegate pass?

Passes are purchased directly and securely via JVZoo — no waiting for board approval required.

3. Complete secure checkout via JVZoo (all major cards accepted)
4. Your digital event pass (PDF with barcode) is generated and emailed to you within minutes

Alternatively, you may apply through the board vetting process at /events/cqis-2026/apply — the Selection Board responds within 24–48 hours and approved applicants receive a payment link by email.

Question 13

Is there an early bird discount?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A 30% early bird discount applies to all three pass tiers until 10 November 2026.

- Active MayaNess Member Pass: £525 + VAT (standard £750)

Question 14

How do I receive my event pass after purchase?

Accepted Answer

Your digital event pass (a personalised PDF with your name, tier, and barcode) is generated automatically and emailed to the address you used at checkout — typically within a few minutes of payment. The email comes from cqis2026@mayaness.org.

Active mayaNess members can also view and download their pass from the member portal at /member/toolkit/cqis-event-pass.

If you do not receive your pass within 30 minutes, check your spam folder and then contact cqis2026@mayaness.org with your JVZoo order receipt number.

Question 15

Are prices inclusive of VAT?

All prices are quoted exclusive of VAT. UK VAT at the prevailing rate will be added at checkout. International delegates outside the UK may be eligible for VAT exemption — this is assessed at the point of ticket issuance.

When and how do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Passes are purchased directly via JVZoo at /events/cqis-2026/register/jvzoo. All major credit and debit cards are accepted. Payment is processed securely by JVZoo (BBC Systems Inc. is the merchant of record). No payment information is collected at the application stage if you choose the board vetting route.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Delegate passes are 50% refundable when cancelled more than 72 hours before the event begins and are non-refundable within 72 hours. Pass transfers to a colleague of equivalent standing may be arranged — contact cqis2026@mayaness.org.

How do I submit a research paper or apply as a speaker?

Submissions are made through the Paper & Speaker Submission form at /events/cqis-2026/submit. You may apply as a research paper presenter or as a panel speaker/moderator. The Academic Review Board assesses submissions within 5–7 business days. Accepted presenters receive a complimentary Standard Pass.

Question 19

What are the paper submission tracks?

There are four tracks aligned with the summit pillars: Track 1 — Quantum Cognition & Consciousness; Track 2 — Cognitive Sovereignty & AI Disruption; Track 3 — Geopolitical Intelligence & Strategic Foresight; Track 4 — Institutional Capital & Quantum Finance. Papers must be original, unpublished work of 3,000–8,000 words.

Are submitted papers peer-reviewed?

Yes. All submitted papers undergo a double-blind peer review process conducted by the mayaNess Academic Review Board. Accepted papers are presented at the summit and included in the CQIS 2026 Proceedings, which are distributed to all delegates and published on the mayaNess Knowledge Base.

There are three institutional partnership tiers. The Sovereign Partner tier (2 slots only) is the most exclusive, offering keynote speaking rights, branded session ownership, and a private roundtable with the mayaNess board. Is accommodation included?

Accommodation is not included in any delegate pass tier. Confirmed delegates receive a curated list of recommended hotels near the venue, with preferential rates negotiated by mayaNess. This information is provided in the delegate confirmation pack sent upon ticket issuance.

Is there a dress code?

Business formal is the expected standard for all summit sessions. The formal delegate dinner on Afternoon Special Session (Executive and Sovereign Pass holders) is black tie.

Are CPE or CPD credits available?

mayaNess is in the process of seeking CPE/CPD accreditation for CQIS 2026. Confirmed delegates will be notified of the accreditation status and the process for claiming credits in their delegate confirmation pack.
